Who is right?
I don't know who and/or what anyone in this thread is.
Scaruffi obviously
Melon was just parroting the Pitchfork circlejerk backlash, even he admitted Honeymoon was at least a 5
Anthony is entitled to his own opinion and all that but Ultraviolence is catchy as fuck and a lot of the soundscapes were pretty lush in terms of Pop music.
I think Anthony is just philosophically against this album and Lana's persona in it.

Hate to say it, but Melon is right

Really liked the first song but the rest bores me. She really doesn't make good albums.

Fantano
Lana Del Rey is absolute trite.
The EQ on the CD version of the album is totally fucked with severely rolled-off treble and jacked-up bass, like someone tried to fix Auerbach's hissy lo-fi sound in mastering and just made it worse
The vinyl is p. tight tho, you gotta understand her "pop" is Phil Spector era, not Max Martin era
>to scaruffi this album is better than anything by Radiohead besides OK Computer and Amnesiac
>>72126922
hm, the Melon who likes death gripos or a well respected proffesional music critic?
>>72127533
radiohead is dogshit so he isn't wrong there
>>72127533
because it is better

Scaruffi (as always)
