What does /mu/ think of CRASS?
Whether you view 'em as punk's only true rebels or a gaggle of mouthy wankers, there's no debating that "The Feeding of the 5000" is a landmark moment in English underground music. CRASS's debut not only viciously rejects the restrictive and corrupt political establishment but the equally restrictive and corrupt punk rock establishment as they experimented with Musique concrète, poetry and steals from John Cage. But 'The Feeding of the 5000' isn't some art gallery installation; it's grinding, poisonous, anarchic and pretty goddamn kickarse rock 'n' roll. CRASS accept no traditional formula.

I'd call the council
literally one of the only good punk bands to come out of the UK aside from Stiff Little Fingers

Skrewdriver were better

Is that Jim Norton?
Skrewdriver's "Boots and Braces" is a good comp, actually.

It's Lars Frederickson.
That comp is god-tier but Hail the New Dawn is a classic.

Do people unironically listen to mongoloidcore and pretend it's good, or do they just ignore the music because they politically identify with lyrics?

Some of the best punk of the 80s was Oi/RAC. If the lyrics trigger you that badly you'll hate it regardless though.
