I just discovered Nardwuar the other day. You guys can thank me later.

He's been doing interviews since the late 80's but blew up the past 10 years or so, a combination of the advent of youtube and rappers thinking he's funny and realizing his videos get a shitload of views. He interviews all kinds of artists and other public figures though.

He's got a grating, super nerdy persona he always puts on, but he extensively researches all of his subjects, brings up things that catch them off guard, and gives them gifts, usually rare records of artists that influenced them. A lot of them end up being very good interviews.

Don't really have a favorite. Watching him beg Tom Araya to do the slayer scream was pretty funny. I was introduced to him through watching his first rollins interview. Never heard The Evaporators before finding his interviews
