I gave if a honest try, only last track was really good, the rest? God. There's some good stuff and I am actually a fan of spoken word, yet it doesn't work here, sometimes when it does it's great, most of the time it's sloppy.

I can see why David Bowie would call it genius. I think "Killing a Little Time" from "No Plan" EP was greatly inspired by this, that worked though. This most of the time sounds like Lou is talking over loud instrumentals.

Juniour Dad worked amazingly though.

What made this the worst experience was that I heard the potential in this and I kept thinking "If only Metallica got more creative right here with their instrumentals to make it fit, if only Lou had more emotions"

Friday night im at this bar and there's some metalheads there.

They have the jukebox, they break up the reggaeton that all the faggots there had on, and put on a big block of slayer, megadeth, metallica, anthrax, etc...

Since I dont just wanna walk up to them and say "nice picks bro" - I go up to the jukebox, and go to one-up them, with an excellent choice - Dream Theater's "The Glass Prison" - a 13 minute song that really should wow them, and show them how hardcore *I* am, and how much into metal I am, and this will surely be a conversation starter.

Of course, I got fucking rekt. I go up and put in the song, but there was one more on the list that they put on - I'M NOT SICK, BUT I'M NOT WELLLLL AND ITS SO HOTTTT CUZ IM IN HELLLL

So everyone in the fucking bar thinks *I* put this on, the metalheads fucking LEAVE, and then my dream theater track comes on, and the sound in there is so shitty, it's like 3x as loud and muddy as all the metal songs they had on, and it seems to last forever, it's really fucking annoying and abrasive and i didnt even feel like hearing it, and i think everyone wanted me dead, so I just sat in the bathroom until it was over, and then put on some biggie.

I saw Say Anything and Modern Baseball about a year and a half ago. They were also touring with Cymbals Eat Guitars. Cymbals Eat Guitars put on one of the worst, most boring, awful sets I had ever been subject to. It was just boring fucking repetitive noise shit while the singer whined and even they looked bored as fuck of their own goddamn playing. Everybody in the front row with me was just leaning on the crowdstopping thing trying not to fall asleep.
