Has anyone here listened to dungeon syth while playing D&D or some other type of pen & paper rpg?
I think that's kind of what it's for, like the dm could incorporate different tracks into the campaign.

literally the first time hearing the term Dungeon Synth was today, I don't browse /mu/ very often, I like burzum though, and I love their demo to death, some black metal fans recommended I listen to it

I think it's one of those albums like Loveless, where even if people like and prefer other albums, everyone will admit that it's an absolute classic and one of the best.

Which black metal artist has the best dungeon synth interludes on their black metal albums?

Burzum obviously goes without saying. Songs like Han some Reite and Tomhet are absolute classics.

I like Xasthurs though. The intro to Suicide in a Dark Serenity is pretty spooky but well done, and all his albums have one or two interludes that evoke a dark medieval feeling.
