You use him in an argument like he's legitimate music critic? Explain yourself.
Who are you talking to?
Samuel Andreyev is the only relevant music critic these days, and at least he knows how to take about musicality as oppose to fanto

>>72049388
OP BTFO
He has nearly 1 million subscribers and he's a fucking music reviewer. He has some credibility.
>>72049374
>legitimate music critic
oxymoron
and he's a plant e-celeb
>>72049414
>subscribers
the (((numbers))) say he's relevant.
where have I heard that one before?
>>72049414
the state of mu right now
Subscribers dont mean shit. Vitaly and that gay boy fosey have subs.. but everybody know they fake
I prefer his old-self pre-2013 than what he has become now.
>>72049374
>tfw both the negative and positive threads started about this OBVIOUS plant are from shills
>>72049435
Having large consistent numbers is literally synonyms with relevancy retard.
>>72049374
His just as much of a music critic as any other reviewer, he gets more clicks then every music critic site combined, his opinion about music has more weight then anyone else in the world.
>>72049374
Maybe pop music, in 2017 Grammy video he not even mentioned classical music rewards.
>>72051581
Yeah, why isn't classical more popular on /mu/?
>>72049374
Pretty sure more people actively follow him and respect his opinion than do any other music critic alive, if that doesn't make him "legitimate" what does?
>>72049374
But he is a legitimate critic, you either don't like him or his reviews
>>72051486
>Having large consistent numbers
kek
Silicon Valley bnumbers have been proven to be fake many times.
Much like box office numbers
and polls
>>72053682
>legitimate critic
what does that even mean?
(and we know shills start both the positive and negative threads of this industry plant)
>>72053704
don't forget (((ratings))) and (((award shows)))
I don't, and i like the dude. There's never a reason to use a reviewer in an argument unless you're arguing for how critically acclaimed an album was. Not to say you can't hear/read a reviewers point and say "you know, that's a good point i'll use that in future arguments", but you shouldn't argue on the basis that because a person said it it's true. I dont' think that happens as much as /mu/ says it does tho.
>>72049435
what did he mean by this?
>>72054592
Well of course it doesn't. /mu/, like much of 4Chan nowadays, assumes it's 100% special and unique in liking what it likes, and anyone from outside /mu/ who reinforces or goes against that opinion or says anything at all without being part of /mu/ MUST be a shill trying to take advantage of them or tear them down.
>>72049390
bruh this is amazijg
>>72056324
>arguing about music in the first place
what's the point lmao
even if you point out every flaw there's no winning
>bro this album is good
>no it's not there's clipping, it's mixed like shit, the master is out of fucking wack, I can't hear the bass, the fucking treble is giving me brain damage and the same 4/4 kick snare on every song is fucking boring
>lol that's alright anon it's all subjective, it's just my opinion, i like it still, you're just a hipster
or if you're arguing with a hipster
>same shit
>dude you don't understand the 4/4 beats simplicity is on purpose to put a focus on the unique avant-garde mixing and mastering, the drummer was obviously a great musician who let the treble give you brain soup ON PURPOSE ART, also my opinion subjectivity, nietzche
>>72049374
Is Anthony still integral to /mu/ culture? I was thinking back to the 2012 days where he was totally in synch here but I feel he's gotten so big he has a massive fanbase most of who have never heard of /mu/
remember the /mu/ character ;_:
>>72049374
do legitimate music critics exist?
>>72057064
it's an entirely subjective thing
hence Israeli muscle
hence: Fantano
>>72049374
He usually elaborates on similar thoughts that I had on an album in a much more precise and detailed manner, and even when he has an opinion I don't share he expands on it and gives new perspective, I haven't watched him in a while so maybe he has changed but I doubt it, he's pretty solid
>>72049414
>a lot of people watch him so he must be credible
Why would I want to listen to someone else talk about their opinion on an album rather than listening to it and deciding for myself?
>>72057372
there is absolutely no reason to
hence this bogus fucking Hollywood jewtube plant
>>72057372
for some odd reason people like hearing other's perspectives, crazy stuff I know
>>72057390
his real name is probably Adam Fanowitz
>>72049374
HAHAAHAHAHAHAAHA MELON IS BALD! BALD! TRAP INFLUENCED MEME CHANNELS!!!!!!!!!! MELON MELON MELON CAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
>>72049390
>suit and tie
yeah no thanks
>>72053704
>peepee meme
>>72049414
Pewdiepie is the most credible gamer too, I suppose.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvNjCNBVs9k
I dunno guys this Antony Fanthano guy seems like a pretty humble dude.
>>72051581
I recall him saying that he just doesn't have the time to listen to classical music on top of everything else
>>72057390
>jewtube plant
He's started posting videos on vidme now, does that mean he's gonna get demonetised soon?
>>72049435
>>72053704
>>72053736
right wing shills must think think their own (((friends))) are planted to influence their thoughts
>>72056457
>winning
people who only debate to win are literally pseudo intellectuals. You debate to exchange ideas and discuss things you love, not to gain internet points. I would argue about music to learn about someone else's viewpoint, or just exercise my own brain muscles, which is really the only reason to debate in the first place.
Legitimate like any other music critic, meaning, as much as you let them be.
Every one can be a critic and providing review isn't hard as people make it out to be, all what you need is some analysis and a balance between subjective and objective, which in music you don't need because music is the most subjective thing ever, so in the end you really just write out your opinion.
Anyone can be a critic, I'd encourage it, sounds like the best fucking job.
he can be a bald piece of shit but he's MY bald piece of shit :3
>>72049374
What the fuck is a
>legitimate
Music critic?
