Great album, but there isn't a single part of it as intense as Fripp's solo on 21st Century Schizoid Man. It's got an impressive and better level of cohesiveness and thematic development, but overall, itcock's way better musically.

Krautrock can be any genre. It's not an actual genre in itself, it's just a blanket term for the underground music scene in Germany in the 70's. Which included many prog rock bands among other types of bands.

While this is true, I always felt something was missing with A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering, even though they're some of the best Genesis albums. But yeah, their sound didn't start to feel considerably different until Hackett left, especially since Mike Rutherford as a guitarist is nowhere nearly as good.

I don't know why they didn't just get Anthony Phillips back in after Hackett's departure, but I guess it doesn't matter much.
