Objectively the best Bowie album.
How?
Most of it is shitty filler.
Best album is Station to Station and you cannot refute this.

This man speaks the truth
>Low is the only other acceptable answer
"hahaha is only a joke guys hahaha I don't actually want to look like a girl hahaha"
The lyrics were already top notch, the slight slide into madness also evident in some Hunky Dory tracks, that would flourish into the coke and pepper years of Diamond Dogs/Station to Station.
It's a matter of taste really OP, I think it ranks equally with the greats that the plebs here drone excessively.
It's his heaviest album, sounds like a Sabbath album at times. Although Visconti claimed in an interview that he wrote most the music on it instead of Bowie.

There's some great songs, but it he hadn't really come into his style yet and a lot of the songs sound like he was trying to be led zeppelin.

how much of bowie's music did he actually make? he could barely play guitar, what else could he arrange?

He's not a bad guitar player, just prefers to hire better ones to play on his albums. I think Diamond Dogs was the first album he actually played lead guitar on. And Let's Dance was the only album he played absolutely no instruments on.
