Underrated. I'm not even plebian, I swear.
>mac demarco
>underrated
didn't know an album with over 1,000,000 views on YouTube was underrated, /r/music
demarco is the definition of safe, bland corporate indie, I've met the guy before

No pleb thinks that they're a pleb

how is this underrated?

Compared to salad days & 2

>Compared to salad days & 2
that still doesn't explain how its underrated?

They are seen as better generally, I think this style is better for his music.

i mean its just rewrites off some songs off ying yang. if anything ying yang and his demos are underrated.

I has a pretty weird slowed down sound like chopped & screwed stuff, but the good jangle pop hooks are still there, and imo that's more interesting than the soothing pop songs for the American Apparel wearing youth he is making since 2 and Salad Days (even though I like them from times to times)

I've actually never heard Ying Yang. Thanks

yeah i agree about that description of it. but after spinning his stuff for 2 years straight. i can only stomach ying yang and whatever demos he releases.
would be cool if him and alex remade another album.

don't know why, but every time i see this mac pic i immediately think of this album cover

Tbqh I don't listen to Ying Yang anymore because I discovered Makeout Videotape before the Mac hype (thanks to my national Vice magazine) and I listened to it a lot in 2012.
If you want more good lo-fi MV, listen to Eating Like a Kid.

his only good album
