keys are pretty future-y for sure. learning how to incorporate a sampling sensibility into a keyboard sensibility is a fucking awesome idea, but also like guitars have the whole world of pedals and stuff and you can treat a guitar so many ways and like get subtle tone differences based on like the amp and how you mic it and it has the human touch of a string to hand like i don't care how good your sample is it won't have that touch. also guitar solos fucking rock and nobody ever does any good ones anymore.
