What a dog shit album
I LIKE MY NEIGHBORHOOOOOOOOOOD
>>71938780
the only people who listen to this shit are avant teens and alt homosexuals who jerk off to jamie
>>71938813
desu that's the only song that's enjoyable
>>71938780
yeah it's not good
their new album is pretty nice though
>>71938780
What a dogshit opinion
knife play is better but it's still 8/10 family
>>71938814
what the fuck is an alt homosexual you buzzword spouting faggot
>>71938780
kind of agree.
xiuxiu is a personal favourite of mine, but all the albums after knife play are really really mediocre in comparison.
>>71939011
could you reccomend some of their good albums? I hated this one but I would like to get into them anyway
>>71939034
not that guy but i'd listen to Fabulous Muscles and Knife Play. I didn't like Xiu Xiu after hearing A Promise but I came back later and listened to Knife Play now they're one of my favorite bands.
>>71939034
Fag Patrol is solid for quiet and unsettling versions of Xiu Xiu favorites. Chapel of the Chimes is like Knife Play.

gays that don't consider themself apart of the mainstream gays, they hate gay pride parades and flamboyant gays, and listen to shit like arca and xiu xiu
i listened to knife play not too long ago as my introduction to xiu xiu. i thought it was good. in my head i see it as a mixture of morissey if he was deranged and unclassy, and the soundtrack from suspira. i feel like only the gays can really appreciate it though, since its pretty uncomfortable shit to just listen to for fun.

Not that anon but
>Knife Play - excellent, post-punkish
>Fabulous Muscles - a bit more conventional but considered their best by lot (it's overrated though
>La Foret - My personal favourite that no one cares about
>Women as Lovers - massively underrated album, the first two thirds are packed with great songs
>Dear God, I Hate Myself - their first (and best) pop album, rammed with good songs
>Plays The Music of Twin Peaks - spammed by /mu/ last year but worth a listen
>Forget - their new one, good poppy stuff with some really great sound design
A Promise is the only album that doesn't really have proper drums, and while I love it, the album is much looser and structureless than anything else they've done. I love it but can see why others wouldn't

thank you
starting with a promise was your first mistake
It's a good album desu
>>71939034
I really liked The Air Force, personally
>>71939329
where do twin peaks and forget fit into this?
>>71938780
What a dog shit opinion
>>71939427
forget would probably stem off of always, but i don't know about twin peaks. peaks kinda sounds like it could go from angel guts imo
fag patrol sucks and the only outstanding song in Chapel of the Chimes is ceremony
