The least aggressive response I have is that it just takes time to get into this kind of stuff. It's really barely even a difficult album to enjoy. Go listen to other stuff and then come back to Loveless in a month or two. Or listen to When You Sleep until you get it and then try the rest of the album. Not that you have to love it, but if you think it's just noise you don't get it yet.
