Is he the only patrician youtuber out there?
>>71926004
He posted a smashmouth meme thats like two months old yesterday. So no
>>71926061
its the fucking rite of spring
LITERALLY. WHO.
Considering he's pretty much the only one that actually focuses on music theory instead of "le epic duhjent metul", I think so
>>71926004
I assume OP is Adam Neely. Just looked him up and saw this video.
Learned something.
Not bad.

Thanks Adam.
Rick Beato is better. There are more but none I can think of right now. But i love Adam. He's a sperg but seems smart/nice
>>71926004
>playing bass
no i dont think so
>>71926267
t. can't play an instrument
>>71926004
unfortunately he's one of the people that are really talented at the instrument but likes shit music and can't make good music
>>71926004
He's a Berklee leetfag. No doubt his technical and theoretical skills are choice but I'll be damned if he isn't obnoxious with all the memetics and muh nancarrow.
You're better off with Jeff Schneider.
>>71927668
Jeff Schneider... you've gotta be kidding me, man. That guy is absolutely not hip.
>>71926232
I know nothing about base anon, but that was a really nice watch anyway, cheers
>>71926004
fucking based dude
>>71927783
Not hip. Anyone with a youtube channel is not going to be hip. Based instruction and technical suggestions.
Who do you recommend, Mr. Hippsteroo McGee? A big ol' lick on Cory Henry's donger?
>>71927897
kek, one of my (purely personal) problems with Jeff Schneider is his over the top, fake hipster clothing. I prefer Alex Terrier's studies on transcriptions, I feel that there is more to take away from them than just scales to play over one specific change.
Also Cory Henry is dope, I'm pretty sure everyone likes him.
>>71926004
He's good at what he does: Teaching/entertaining. But as with most people who are extremely technically proficient with an instrument, they lack the ability to craft good, memorable music.
>>71926143
seriously this
sadly metal has become the largest contingent of the audience for general musicianship on youtube and the biggest music channels got big by pandering to it or totally embracing it
>>71928022
Jeff is a super doofus. Gotta love the stupid awkward pug and the "my wife and I are on vacation in Israel right now" stuff.
I'll check out Terrier. David E. Farrell has a series of undergraduate TA tutor style theory vids that are nice.
Learning Music with Ray is just off the wall full of more than you could imagine but a little dry for people seeking entertainment.
Yale Courses Listening to Music series is nice for it's Yale level discourse but still sort of sucks.
Cory Henry is excellent. I certainly agree with pretty much everything he says with timefeel but the huge cult following will probably end up haunting him in a professional sense. He's certainly not on the same page as Bill in SP and Revival was imo a pretty strong record.
Neely can get fukked. dddd
