New Grass > Spirit of Eden > rest of Laughing Stock

Spirit of Eden, I always have a soft spot for transitional albums. SoE just has that nice quality of feeling more inbetween their two styles than Laughing Stock and feels a little more distinct as a result. Both are top tier and all time favorites, though.

Laughing Stock looks okay because of where the text is placed, but Spirit of Eden gives the impression of too much empty space for my taste.

I find that although Spirit of Eden has more historical significance, Laughing Stock is just a better over-all album and seems like a fully realized Spirit of Eden. Kinda like how Heroes is fully realized Low.
