What's the weirdest music you play on the piano?
Also, piano general.
Is that a fucking digital piano the size of a real grand?

I wanna learn piano, I'm 23 and I feel like I'm 6 years too late. Don't know the first place to begin, I don't even have a fucking piano. I certainly don't have room for one.
So maybe I'll get a keyboard. I'll have to look into them I guess.

If it gets me hooked and I wanna mess around with different tunes and not just a piano sound, would a different keyboard be a better option?
Like I think they're called midi keyboards?

I'm only 20 but I feel the same. Seems like everyone who's good has been playing since they were a child.

Use the Casio as a controller.

It's not like you would be great had you started early. Those are exceptions anyway.

I have no idea why people limit themselves so much over the age factor, the fun thing about instruments is progressing regardless of age and many great musicians started out surprisingly late.

i can play conlon noncarrow stuff even tho its supposed to be impossible

Because it justifies (and pre-justifies) failure, a relief from the burden of hard work.

It's more of a when I had more time thing, I know a few people who started learning piano late, even as late as their 50s.
Musicians are the same too. But it's just a bit annoying since I don't have as much free time these days balancing 2 jobs, working out, hobbies, getting enough sleep, social life. All that bullshit.

I'm not using it as an excuse to not try, I'm saving for a semi-decent digital piano, and once I get that I should progress relatively fast because I'm a NEET with no social life.

Luckily, I already know a good deal of theory from playing guitar. It's just sight reading and technique I'm worried about sucking at.
