yea animals is really good actually, I forgot about it. 2nd law has a handful of good songs desu but it feels like a compilation album, there's absolutely no flow on it even with the good songs

OP here, I'm the one who posted on that thread about how they have affected my music tastes and musicianship so much so they're still a favorite of mine. I'm seeing them live in may just because it's been something i've wanted to do for like 6 years now but never had the timing right, so even though I'm really not a big fan of drones I'm still hyped to hear them live. Fingers crossed for cit erased

Yeah their earlier stuff is by far their best, Drones is a poor concept album but it still has a few decent tracks (The Handler could fit onto any other Muse album IMO).

I plan on seeing them at Reading festival in August, they've recorded a few new songs apparently so we've got that to look forward to as well.
