nice try desu
>>71886198
Lmao I wish there is nothing like this sorry
Literally nothing. Seriously.
>The Depreciation Guild - In Her Gentle Jaws
More electronic shoegaze but with chiptunes instead of glitch. It's no V:D:C but it is quite an unique sound.
There's also that one M83 album with the lost cities, dead seas, and red ghosts or whatever that's also similar but it isn't as good as the two above.
>>71886198
literally nothing
the album is a unique gift and one of /mu/'s best hauls the Long Season of shoegaze
>>71886198
it's pretty fucking unique
only other slightly similar album i've listened to is kashiwa daisuke's program music i, since they both blend glitch/electronic elements with other genres. it's a really good album so you should listen to it anyway
sweet trips
>>71886198
musically this is the closest ive ever found to vdc. no vocals though.

It's a pretty unique album.
I guess Sufjan Stevens - Enjoy Your Rabbit ? It's kinda similar
I remember making this thread. It's always endearing to see it again.

Fucking dank
question: how does one even make something like this? What goes into the process when you make music like this? Like how the fuck do you create all the unique glitchiness sounds in Tekka or Fruitcake and Cookies
>>71886198
do you think the band members ever tried drugs
>>71887640
anyone have a download of this can't find it
>>71886198
Aoki Takamasa & Tujiko Noriko - 28
The glitch is a little lighter but its got the similar sort of dreamy sound going for it
This album is perfect for beach days or doing drugs
Makes me think of a sunny anime day
>>71886198
trash
>>71887024
this is really fucking good

>The Depreciation Guild - In Her Gentle Jaws
im really digging this man, ty for the rec
They're one of those groups like Mission of Burma, Built to Spill, or Aphex Twin.
There's only one copy and they leave everything else in the dust
>>71886198
nothing will ever come close :(
>>71886198
that is a good album
>>71888857
Is mission of burma that good? I haven't listened to vs. in a while but I wasn't crazy about it before. I enjoyed but it didn't stick with me.
>>71889045
their best release is the EP signals calls and marches
>>71889045
Signals, calls and marches is way better than vs imo
>>71889103
>>71889108

I have yet to find a band that wrote songs like as good as Secrets, Trem Two, Dead Pool, Mica, or Einstein's Day
anyways you're gonna be blown away by Academy Fight Song
>>71889045
Vs takes time, but I put it on one day and Secrets blew my fucking mind open
>>71889171
>>71889328
Yeah, I said I enjoyed the songs. I just didn't feel like there was anymore to them than what I was hearing and wasn't impressed.
>>71886198
