Actually Kid A is. The way I emotionally feel about Kid A and End of Evangelion are very similar. It's disturbing, it has that feeling of being uneasy and paranoid, but it's also beautiful.

K-On sucks, I don't see the appeal to it, it's just cute girls drinking tea for an entire episode, playing the same songs over again, and losing a competition cause they barely practiced

Watch it again and pay attention to the interactions between all the characters, it's super fluid and feels scarily natural. Along with that it perfected the Slice of Life genre and everything that's come since has just been poor imitation. Also the soundtrack is pretty good, not the best anime ost but it's up there.
