By The Way is probably the closest thing they have to a great album IMO. Almost all of their albums have great songs shrouded in plenty of terrible ones.

Seeing as your listed Californication as your favourite, the songs I enjoy from that album are: Porcelain, Emit Remmus, Otherside, This Velvet Glove, Savior. Looking back that album was one of their more consistent releases.

That's true, I actually quite enjoy a lot of Anthony's vocals on that album. He seems to be at his worst during their more corny and loud songs.
