What does /mu/ think of Midori?

Haven't listened to anything of their's other than Aratamemashite, hajimemashite, Midori desu, but it's one of my favorites.
Really need to get around to listening to Shensekai as I've heard good things about it

Damn, I hadn't heard First before but I have Second on CD. Most of their stuff seems to get taken off YouTube pretty quickly so this is awesome.

Really liked Aratamemashite but I got kinda tired of their schtick on Shinsekai

Intense punk, the instruments sound great. The piano and upright bass are a nice touch.

the band had no chemistry. the pianist only knows block chords which makes every song sound the same. and the drummer was too into himself to ever just lay down a rhythm, his drumming is pretty much one half hour long fill

they ended at the right time with their last album turning into spastic adult swim tier "random screamy parts are wacky" type music.

Definitely one of my favorite bands. Shinsekai and Aratamemashite, hajimemashite, Midori desu are two of my all time favorites. Mariko Goto is probably my favorite singer as well, shit like Donzoko and Rhythm have some of the greatest vocals performances I have ever heard.
