Better than the Beatles at doing what the Beatles were attempting to do? Nobody. That's why they're great at what they do. Catchy colorful short and sweet no filler no bullshit psychedelic music. Not pop. Not rock. Just psychedelic music. Between revolver and let it be. That's the sweet spot. If you listen to them for their earlier music then you're just a wannabe pop music fan that doesn't have the patience for anything.

The moody blues hit the sweet spot a few times but there so much boring filler that it makes it unbearable. The Beatles never bored me.

Even when they started to sound like the Beatles on their last couple albums, they did it better than the Beatles did.

The Beatles are a good poprock group but they're still overrated as hell. They're nowhere even close to my favorite poprock groups.
