Anyone else looking forward to this?
I'm sorry, but I still can't get behind women doing power electronics. It's just...ineffective in all the ways power electronics should be effective.
Diamanda Galás is fantastic, but that's about it for me

This leaked years ago

I haven't even listened to this and music has nothing to do with gender.
You're actually trying to justify being a dumbass rofl.
Especially when it's something as abrasive as noise/power electronics.
>>71827943
oh look another watered down artist straight outta sacred bones
lmao
>>71828043
>women's brains are identical to mens
>women create art just like how men do
>>71828043
>and music has nothing to do with gender.
what he said was dumb. but this is fucking idiotic also right here. if that wasn't fucking true then we would just have algorithms make music for us.
>>71828070
When it's as pretentious as harsh noise or power electronics, trust me, you could be Daniel Johnston on Merzbow's laptop and no one could tell a difference.
>>71828122
t. idiot who doesnt understand noise
>>71828084
I love the incoherent jump from humans/gender to algorithms/AI.
Grats on your autism.
>>71828140
grats on your misogyny
I loved Bestial Burden, so yes, I am.
Im glad I go to live noise shows and never read anything pitchfork
>>71828137
I'm sure if I played you a 5 minute snippet from "The Rita" and "Mo Te" I doubt you could differentiate.
It's basically ass blasting for an hour straight.
The cover arts take more work desu.
>>71828180
try me
>>71828180
of course you can differentiate they arent all using the same equipment so they have different sounds
>>71828180
I stood in front of The Rita's table at a show, the volume was so loud it made my eyeball hurt.
that cover is awesome. shes ok but overhyped for sure
>>71828252
who do you think is as good/better?
PE/noise for people who don't actually like PE/noise. Like Mastodon and Baroness are metal for people who don't actually like metal.
Women's voices simply aren't made for power electronics or metal vocals.
It's like how Mozart's "Flower Duet" shouldn't be performed by males. The style just isn't made for that gender.
>>71828295
female shrieking is pretty PE
>>71827981
hmm, perhaps it should not be classified as PE then?
>>71828331
But it doesn't sound good. (you know what I mean
>>71829976
gotta disagree with you there chum. Shrieking is top tier stuff.
