Give me some instrumental folk or country albums.
john fahey. pretty much anything he did.
Check out John Fahey. It's not folk, but it's neoclassical played in the style of folk.

do you know what instrumental means?
The Devil Makes Three - Do Wrong Right
Brown Bird - Salt for Salt (Really exceptional song writing with cool riffs combined with awesome lyricism. Just one of the more solid bits of folk/songwriting that's recently been put out)
The Builders and the Butchers 2007 album is good.
Blackbird Raum - Swidden (Pretty much dirty angry hippy pirates with odd apocalyptic folk)
Punch Brothers - Punch Ahoy (Prog bluegrass, very inventive/talented)

all of those I recognize are good but not instrumental

I just saw a folk thread and got excited. These threads barely happen.
I wish I knew more purely instrumental music that's folk. Most instrumental I go for is jazz.
Allman Brothers have a lot of cool folkish/country instrumentals

I get that
Anymore like this? UK/bluegrass. Not instrumental though.

William Tyler released Modern Country last year, great for instrumental country and guitar music people
