Brown Bird - Salt for Salt (Really exceptional song writing with cool riffs combined with awesome lyricism. Just one of the more solid bits of folk/songwriting that's recently been put out)
The Builders and the Butchers 2007 album is good.
Blackbird Raum - Swidden (Pretty much dirty angry hippy pirates with odd apocalyptic folk)

I just saw a folk thread and got excited. These threads barely happen.

I wish I knew more purely instrumental music that's folk. Most instrumental I go for is jazz.
