Gorillaz - 2001:
>I brought all this
>So you can survive when law is lawless
>Feelings, sensations that you thought were dead
>No squealing, just remember
>That it's all in your head
Gorillaz - 2017:
>The roof is on fire
>She wet like Barbra Streisand
>Police everywhere
>It's like a nigga killed a white man

Gorillaz - 2001
>We just don't accept it nigga
>I go ahead, lift my trigger
>Get rid of bitches, pay you a visit, then get your shit lit
>I'm a nitwit with a big dick, and big balls
>I don't miss shit
>I hit all, whoever that did this
You're not wrong, OP.
Even Melon just caved and admitted the new tracks are garbage.

>caring about fantano

You know those are two verses from two different rappers right?
>>71806860
and only one of them is good
Does anyone else feel like a lot of the new tracks are: "Rapper feat. Gorillaz"? I wish they would just do more of their own stuff without all of these collaborations

Last bit is
>I hit hard, whoever that did this, we gonna get y'all
911 is a really underrated track.
>As I sit in my seat, and remain calm
>Close my eyes, wait for the bomb
>HERE IT COMES

Plastic Beach was like that too I felt. Just a bit all over the place. Damon noodling away (no pun intended) and different colabs that didn't feel coherent or anything, unlike Demon Days which all fell together perfectly.
These new tracks fuck me I don't even know. One good one (Andromeda) one sort of average one (We've got the Power) and the other two are total shit. We Are Still Humanz was a big let down too.
