Some Dresden Dolls songs are okay, generally on their first album. Evelyn Evelyn was worth a few spins. Don't really know much else about her output nor have I listened to even what I've already listed in recent memory.

love the first dresden dolls album. the second not so much but there's still some great songs on there. haven't gotten into her other work but i liked the ukulele-songs of hears i heard. don't know about the drama surrounding her but i accpeted long ago that many of the artists i admire might be assholes, some i know are. they still make great music. i don't have to sit down and share memories with them, just the music. if i can connect to that then there's something and there doesn't have to be more

His dad was their press officer, and he lived in East Grinstead - Scientology's Salt Lake City - until the late eighties. His sisters and ex-wife are still in there, but he pussyfoots around the question, probably to avoid losing contact with them more than anything else. On the other hand, it's been inconclusively rumored that Palmer's dad has Scientology connections too, which would be... an interesting coincidence. However, Palmer went to a Scientology escapee's book launch a few years back, so presumably isn't in the Church actively, whatever history they both have. Who knows, though?
