Theneedledrop ruined NMH (already a meme but it didn't help) Death Grips (same as NMH, but it seemed like they lurked too much). I still love Strange Mercy but of course the /pol/ transplants and waifu spammers really got out of hand. Undermining Annie's talent. Never liked Grimes though.

They don't ruin anything for me. Death Grips (imo) isn't good enough to listen to unironically(considering all the memes)

ITAOTS is great. Stands on its own. Displays emotion wonderfully. Magnum gets the most out every lyric and instrument(considering he's such an average singer/guitarist). Some of those horn melodies are beautiful (the Fool, Communist Daughter).

Strange Mercy is one of my favorite records. Annie has a beautiful voice (its pretty sexy too Dilettante and Chloe in the Afternoon), and the record does a great job of wearing its emotions on its sleeve without draining you by being surprisingly quirky and witty.

I think this board is shit, but every once in a while you'll get a thread (like the Rilo Kiley thread from a few days ago) that restores all hope. Mu is like msg. Your brain tells you its bad, but I still come back.
