All of Take Off Your Pants and Jacket by Blink-182 is just amazing. Something you can listen to start to finish and it leaves you wanting more.
That is if you're into pop-punk but who isn't?

Feels like you're being consumed by a swamp
Super-underrated rockabilly/country compilation of very raw recordings done by a weird ass Virginian redneck back in the 50's and 60's that, before they were unearthed by the Cramps, were obscure even among aficionados of outsider art.
In a lot of ways, Adkins is a missing link between punk and americana, he played all his instruments himself, even when playing live, his vocals are fast and jumbled, reminiscent of religious chanting and his ability to write surrealist lyrics (usually involving his favorite subjects: chicken, hot dogs, women, booze and humping) is shockingly strong.
He was also THE REAL FUCKING DEAL when it came to authenticity, a real redneck that probably actually did hunt squirrels and shit for sport and sustenance. He was a true "Weird American."

That was just awful.
There will never be another Spanish album better than this
You thought the last good Echo and the Bunnymen album was Ocean Rain? Wrong. Now before you laugh at me for liking this album, try to forget about its historical context and enjoy it on its own merits. Sure, Mac isn't on this one, but his replacement is quite good, not to mention that the music itself is better than anything on their self-titled album, and definitely better than anything that came after it. I'd even go as far as saying this one's better than Heaven Up Here, to be honest. It has a more psychedelic flair to it than their previous records, and is more neo-psych then it is post-punk, but it is an enjoyable record that unfortunately is on the wrong side of history.

If you are looking for something game-changing you may not be too impressed. However, if you're looking for a loose but still well developed concept album, this is a great place to start. This is a great "experimental" rock album, combining elements of psychedelic music with dreamy atmospheres in a way that conveys a feeling a lot like what is pictured on the cover.
John's vocals and lyrics are heartfelt and come from a place of deep authenticity.
Are you looking for a comfy, fun but still jammable record?
