How many layers of post-punk are you on right now?

post punk sucks
I see post punk thrown around all the time and I'm pretty sure it's in line with my tastes but if someone played some for me I wouldn't feel confident labeling it as such. That said, I'm behind 7 layers of post punk.

that's a lot of layers
Listened to every album on all the charts and want more. Where to start bros?

post-punk is a really vague and loose term really
Post-Punk is the dumbest label. (There's a lot of great music categorized under it though.)

is it really that vague? -- 32 layers of post punk.

666 layers. Post punk isn't that vague if you just look at it as literally post 1977 punk (77-84) not including the hardcore punk scene of course which lasted about the same time but had its own very distinct sound.
