My explanation of the concept:

>The concept of this song is remembering good memories you had with people you hate. The semi-happy synth melody is offset by the dissonance, distortion, rumbling bass, high pitches, and rhythmic glitches, much in the same way our happy memories are tainted by the people in them.

>The title, [lucid dream ], refers to the feeling we get while remembering these. We were lucid at the time, and looking back at them can almost feel like a dream. This is our inevitable lucid dream.
