Yes and no

I tend to agree with fandango in a general sense, even though I strongly disagree with his finer points and his interpretation of the music and its potential meaning. But, memes notwithstanding, Fantano is a lot more interesting to watch, where this guy can sometimes seem kind of flat.

Definitely deserves more than 10k subscribers though.

kind of, both are great but i think deep cuts is slightly better because he makes really helpful videos like a guide to some artist, genre or that last one about how to appreciate classical music.

I think his videos are pretty good and interesting, he clearly knows a lot about the music he talks about. I can't really watch a full video by him though, I find them a bit boring. I have a really low attention span though, so ignore what I said about the videos being boring and long.
I'd say he's on the same level, maybe a little higher than Fantano. I know a lot of people here don't like Fantano, but he's alright. Music discussion would be pretty boring if everyone had the exact same opinions on all music and if everyone gave the same albums the same ratings. Remember, music, along with all other forms of art, is subjective. But yeah, Fantano's pretty good at explaining in depth why he likes or dislikes the music he's reviewing. I can't say anything more than "shit's good" or "shit's bad".

I love deep cuts, although my main problem is that sometimes he really does get carried away with being concise/length. Better to split a video into various parts, than make an hour long video, IMO
