Have a pair of AE2's with a braided cable and upgraded ear cushions, most comfortable set I've ever owned but I might sell em on craigslist and pick up some open backed over/around ears to replace them for listening on my hifi. Good idea? How much improvement do you guys think I'll hear? My amp should have no problem driving any reasonable pair I might cop.

Also I listen on stock apple earbuds when mobile bc I don't care that much about quality if I'm moving around or doing noisy things/in a public space.
