What's funny is this isn't even j dilla's best production, but we can say that for dj shadow.

>Better than anything in the world
Does anybody know the sample to "Outro" on the re-released version of this album. It sounds a little like there is the same violin note from the "outro" on "Donuts" in the background. Please I've tried to find it to no success.

They're both very different, Endtroducing is more about longer, moodier songs made out of less recognizeable samples whereas Donuts is more deconstructionist; it's about how he's rearranged the songs into interlocking fragments

couldnt have said it better myself

What would you consider his best. I was always a big fan of Jaylib, it's too bad some of his best tracks ended up with Madlib rapping on them.

On an unrelated note, has anyone heard of Milkshake X Infinity by The Other Leading Brand? It's a plunderphonics album released in the early 2000s by some guy who sold burnt copies via email. I got it off of bandcamp a couple years ago, but my hard drive crashed and it's since been pulled due to copyright issues.

This is the only bit of it I can find anywhere online at the moment

Jaylib is pretty dope, and I don't mind madlib rapping, dig his unconventional lispy ass flow.
I thought he really shined during the slum village years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znQxLCp-Rsk

I love that jaylib album too. Slum Village is pretty good, they were always pretty hit or miss for me. My favorites are the things he did with Frank n Dank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVbBGjmnbbU Most of his best stuff came out as instrumentals though.
am I banned
Bumpin for this
