Anon, this is a lesson that unfortunately you need to learn the hard way maybe, but you shouldn't get invested in the idea of being with someone. This also means not putting them on a pedestal. You're just setting yourself up for pain if it doesn't work out.

I think maybe you should look into some constructive hobbies. Reading and listening to music is fun and important too, but you'll feel a lot better when you're working towards creating something, whether that be some sort of art, something practical like cooking, or self-improvement. Plus, when you start doing things like this, you'll be able to connect with people who enjoy doing the same thing as you. This makes meeting people and having meaningful conversations together a lot easier.

I know anon, this is the first time i get like this for someone in a long time. A long ass time. Maybe never like this desu. As for the constructive hobbies i'm not gonna lie to you and say i'm working on it but i think about it regularly, i'm yet to find something i really want to invest myself into though.
