How do you like it?
It sounds experimental for the sake of being experimental, imo.

What does that even mean?

It's too technical. Tryhard album.
>>71699634
Experimental to the detriment of actually sound good?

No clue, but thanks to you I know what 'autism' means, anon.

Figured as much

this

Sounds good means whether or not something sounds good. If something sounds bad for example, it's at the very least likely that it doesn't sound good.

I don't think this is an appropriate complaint. I think Frank Ocean's Blonde was a better example of experimental for the sake of being experimental. This album actually benefits from the exploration imo.

I see, thanks.
5-6/10, like most Spoon albums
>>71699609
It's barely experimental. It's just more groove oriented, I like it. Solid 7 like every album they've released.

if its like most spoon albums im probably gonna like it.
I don't know. Something feels kinda off this time. I think they really are a great band, but i'm afraid they're losing it. It could be the member that left the band, or, as i wrote the other day, there's something wrong with Britt.
And it really annoys me how much "Do i have to talk you into it" sounds like "The beast and dragon, adored".
6/10 for me.
Anyway, my fav of them is Transference. Very underrated record.
I really enjoy Spoon and liked the singles off this albums but after listening through it once I don't have the desire to listen to it again anytime soon, nothing really stood out for me. Spoon has been consistently releasing good albums over there career but I'm not really feeling this one. Kill the Moonlight is my favorite Spoon record.

>. Something feels kinda off this time
yup, can't tell what it is either
>>71700984
It literally is built around a sample of Beast and Dragon Adored
Also that song sounds weirdly a lot like Closer
It's my favorite spoon album
