What's the most you've ever been let down by an album?
drogas light
well i found out about tame impala six months before Currents. i was totally ready for kevin to change his sound, and i felt he could do something interesting.
then let it happen dropped, and it was everything i thought it could be. i was like "wow holy shit he's doing this artsy, melancholic take on RnB and old disco, it's like cyclical club music about being lost and shit."
i was so down.
then i downloaded Currents. First song, Let It Happen. Amazing, I was so hype.
and then the bastard has the gall to produce nothing but garbage with garbage lyrics for the next 45 minutes. i mean shit, some had cool music but then the lyrics would be aaawwffuuuuull. the falsetto got real old real fast.
it was like getting kicked in the balls.

>James Blake - The Color In Anything

he may have put way too many songs on the album, but it was still good
I don't think anything can compare to that tidal wave of disappointment that was Wildflower from The Avalanches. 16 years for phoned-in features and a half-ass mix.
everything in xx discog, they have so much wasted potential
Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto

>Primal Scream - More Light
Fuck off

Fuck.... These guys had such a good first album and I was so excited to see what they would bring with this, but then, wow. It wasn't bad, but it for sure didn't have the staying power that Torches has. I still have those songs stuck in my head!
