Best album of March so far
Is this like Colin Stetson but with an accordion

Almost exactly like it I think.

I probably wouldn't have listened to this seeing it on Boomkat alone
The similarities to Stetson are obvious, though I'm still digging this. Thanks for posting it, friend

My pleasure glad you like it. I didnt even know what Boomkat was. I found this album just going exactly down the list of albumoftheyear.org having zero idea what most of the albums were like at all.

Boomkat is super fuckin good for finding new albums
Aside from the cheesy descriptions, they show off a lot of good lesser know albums, though they tend to lean towards the electronic side of music (industrial, techno, ambient, drone, etc.) while still covering all other genres. They're AOTY lists are also interesting to look at, along with their features.

Granted the tracklist is slightly different. Not to take away from this being great: much like Alex Cameron's Jumping the Shark this album deserves to be reissued to reach a wider audience.

And the album cover and the title. Not too cool Mario. I'm just gonna interpret this as the deluxe version. Truth hurts but thanks. I really thought I discovered something here.

Halfway through now. Meh. Stetson is one of my favorite artists ever and I can see the similarities. But this is kinda.. boring.

Have you heard something better this month? Yeah I now know this is from 2015 but still just as a baseline.
