None of them are post-modernists. They are all nostalgia obsessed faggots.
how is OPN postmodern?

Gets no pussy: the post
>>71647531
this
all of them do nothing but throwbacks to forgotten eras of music
dean is obsessed with twee pop

Delete this thread OP. You don't know what you're talking about.

nostalgia is part of post-modernism
>>71647386
why would you want to end post-modernism within music?
also this
>>71647531
>>71647386
it never even took firm hold
literally by making good postmodern shit. James Ferraro is the musical equivalent of the postmodern Austin Powers movies.

Lel, absolutely best post in the thread. How do you actually top this.
>>71647651
by using postmodernism and tell him hes subjectively wrong
friendly reminder that postmodernism is only bad if you take it too seriously
>>71647386
Call it a meme.
>>71647511
Implying that isnt what post-modernism is
modernity ended therefore we are all postmodern
deal with it
This is an example of post modernism in music. It also sucks.
This is an example of post modernism in music. However, it is good.

Maybe I see it as art student nonsense because I don't "get" post-modernism, or post-modernism supposed to be some undefinable idea,
but I've always been told that if you can't explain something in a way that's simple enough for a child to understand, you don't truly understand it yourself...and so far I can't find any definition for "post-modernism" that isn't long winded and pretentious as fuck
This man is behind all of it. We must stop him.

It's becoming more and more accpeted that we've moved out of post-modernism and into something else. Whether you wanna call it metamodernism, post-post-modernism, or new sincerity. It's there, and it's happening.
>>71648335
where would you say the OP artists were philosophically?
>>71648419
Honestly I haven't listened to any of them.
