What's the difference between /bleep/ techno music and "EDM" music they play at Ultra Music Festival?
/bleep/ music is significantly more nuanced and carefully made, so it has long-term listenability rather than being tolerable background music to a massive party
not much other than the amount of people that will pay to see it. the most spammed electronic music is stuff that takes a dance context and experiments with it, hence "IDM"
don't be fooled, outside of ambient and noise there isn't much value in bpm-based music
/bleep/ listens to club music. as in music that's designed for a club to have people locked in a dance all night long.
jungle, techno, dnb, dubstep, 'ardcore, breakbeat, house, trance

shit like those that are meant to be played in a club where everyone is locked in a dance for 5 hours straight and not jumping up and down for 30 seconds then waiting for the next drop like little bitches
then there's ANIME GRIME
/bleep/ jizzes themselves over oldschool breakbeats and amen breaks while the general EDM crowd thinks jungle is hopelessly outdated.
literally just youtube it
