hey /mu/, what are your thoughts on tobacco?
One trick pony
I like BMSP over his Tobacco stuff though
I like Black Moth Super Rainbow better, because Tobacco just kind of feels like 3 other musicians in that band left the room and 1 guy decided to do an extra album that was just him twiddling his dick and messing around with a vocoder.

It used to give me a tummy ache. I still gag whenever I put a cig in my mouth, but it really does mellow me out for a good hour or two and helps me not get upset or sad about anything.
one of the most /mu/ approved artists

I always liked tobacco, but only really got into during a very stressful period on my life where I assumed a character to create this ridiculous video project and got heavily depressed because of it. Now I smoke regularly and am not as fond of the novelty of smoking.
I also listen to the guy sometimes. I like him, but he's not particularly great. I derive enjoyment from his work, but said work is only above average - you know?

Personally, If you put a gun to my head:
Maniac Meat > Ultima II Massage > Fucked Up Friends, But I think they're all equally good in different ways.
Sweatbox Dynasty was a huge disappointment.
The singles he released made it sound like it was going to be in the vein of Ultima II Massage, but it focused more on the "nasty cassette/vhs noise" elements of Tobacco than the "Lo-Fi hip-hop groove" aspect.
