What should I expect?

Teen angst and baldness.

It's pretty good on first listen but after that it gets kinda stale.

Fantastic composition and production mixed with one of the worst singers you will ever hear in your life.

One of the most eclectic records you've ever heard, one of the few 120+ minute albums I can listen to without my attention waning.

I think Jeff Mangum is pretty comparable to Billy Corgan, not necessarily a bad singer but definitely not very strong. However, it does give the albums more personality with the fact that they aren't good singers.
