I own one (the smallest version - the same one Grimes is noodling on in that IG vid) as of a week. The thing is amazing.

In essence, it is a midi keyboard with a rubber-like surface that is able to detect initial press intensity, maintained finger pressure, finger release intensity, horizontal position, and vertical position (aka their "5D"s of touch) for each individual finger placed on it and translate it into extremely dynamic midi data output. The multi-timbral part comes from the fact that you can configure it to selectively trigger multiple different synth sounds simultaneously (such as based on initial press intensity.)

For example, Equator (the desktop synth engiine app made specifically by Roli to take advantage of the Seaboard's features) has a preset which sounds like a struck zither when you strike a key, but sounds like a synth pad if you press lightly and hold. It allows you to essentially play two different instruments on the same keyboard at the same time without any significant playing limitations.

Art Angels is almost the same as good as Visions. AA and Visions are like light and dark.

Why is AA posted so often? Because it's catchier and more immediate, has better singing and better production, and it's more diverse. It's an upbeat album with dark lyrics. Imo if you take Art Angel's bigger singles (like FWB) and listen to them back-to-back with the latest offerings from the rest of the pop sphere (e.g. Lorde's/Lana Del Rey's new singles or even Lady Gaga's album from last year) it's remarkable how "current" (if not more futuristic-sounding) the AA stuff sounds.
