This year's release is Demonseed also from DFW but I havent heard too many. Last years was Cross Record from Dripping Springs followed by Street Sects from Austin. I was at the album release show for that Toadies album and have been following them since the Velvet demo. Although not as early as some friends who saw them at diy places that were just warehouses.
