I'd play all sorts of Boards of Canada albums throughout my kids youth up until he's around 8 years old. Then when he discovers them on his own when he's older, he'll have an extreme nostalgic blast.

I love black metal, Immortal most likely being my favorite band ever, so I'd probably give him this nowadays recent album, since I believe Abbath did a great job on this prokect and when I have him it'll already be somewhat old, only to serve as introduction to the genre so he can dig up older records by himself.
