YOUR
I liked the humor in it, but the songs sound the same.
The sound of the bass can become boring quickly...btw the groove is cool...

im a huge fan of thundercat and there's a lot of talent on this album but some of the track's lyrics are very bad and ruin the song

the features arnt good even Kendrick's verse just sounded like b-sides from TPAB. eventually some of the songs start sounding a bit the same. a way to fix this would to be to cut down the amount of tracks from the 23+. his voice also is very boring since his range is the same on all of the songs.
however, this is probably thundercat's best work yet with some of his best songs: uh uh, lava lamp, jethro, friend zone, and inferno.
Jethro is my song of the year.
Good album, a little too much filler. I can understand why people would get sick of the same singing and bass that's why I thought where the giants roam are was perfect because it didn't overstay it's welcome.
wtf I love weeaboos now

Yea some of the other anons mentioned the lyrics which make me cringe at points. I get that hes making personal statements but i definitely think its kind of conflicting for the music to be really sophisticated and jazzy, its like it tries to appeal to two kinds of music fans but you end up with a lesser product because of it

MEAT
Listened to it once. It has a nice groove through most of the songs, but it feels like he just stuck with that one groove for the album and called it a day. The lyrics are whatever, they're meant to be jokey and his voice blends enough into the mix that it was easy to ignore. I'll probably revisit it later, but it comes off as background music
its alright. 6.8/10
