You're understanding of butt rock is slightly flawed. A major element of butt rock (nearly every song) is when the singer keeps their full voice as a "nasally head voice" not "chest/diaphragm voice," you have singers on that list that are straight up falsetto singers and ones that don't even resort to that aspect of singing (Arctic Monkeys, Audio Slave, Cage the Elephant, Earshot, Muse, All-American Rejects, Pretty Reckless, Thirty Seconds to Mars...)
