If what Kurt does on Serve the Servants is "actual singing" then maybe he shouldn't bother. Emotional sincerity and transparency is what makes that song and not any technical or musical aspect, save maybe opening the album with that sour note. Even then, it's SO transparent that it almost entails personal investment into Kurt's woes to care.
