For those interested, there a few albums that sound similar to Tago Mago. First one is obvious, Amon Duul's Phallus Dei.

There's also "Buddha Meet Rock", highly obscure LP with wall of sound and shomyo buddhist chantings. This album preceded TM by one year.

Another obscure album similar to Tago Mago is "Love Will Make a Better You", it came out a couple of days before Tago Mago's release.
