It;s not great and hasn't improved with age, but it's also pretty much the father of eurobeat, which is my (not actually guilty one bit) guilty pleasure. just thought I'd share my experience :

Positives:
-it felt fucking amazing doing my performance to a room with people in it for a few of the positive parts. the intro was powerful and it felt fucking righteous blasting my psychedelic sounds into their minds for a few brief moments when i was locked in properly
-i learned a few lessons about performing
-social activity at least, got out and talked to people!!!!!!

Negatives:
-levels were way off. bass was mixed wrong or something on all my tracks. the mix sounded WAY different on their speakers than on my monitors at home.
-other performers were rock bands and it felt whack doing my stuff
-general transitions and performance was very far from on point. some parts that i thought would be good had to be skipped cause the feeling was off.
-some of the songs themselves were obviously shit in the moment, and i will not be playing them again. i didn't realize they sucked till I played em out.
-nobody clapped... was kind of awful feeling, felt like I was being spat on but honestly it wasn't really house night so whatev i kind of did it more for myself haha, gotta take chances

Lessons for me:
-honestly I need a fucking proper mixing environment. I can't hear the fucking bass properly, or anything, on my monitors. I can't predict how it will sound on their system. it's time to start taking mastering and engineering MUCH more professionally cause you have to be ready to pump it on other systems
-i HAVEEEEEEEE to set up a mini studio at the very least, somehow. i need to be able to have a sub and to set the monitors up right.
-the set is about knowing things intimately and controlling it thoughtlessly like playing a guitar
-songs need to be far more superior to truly get people into it. otherwise its just jerking off
