Why wasn't the brilliant "Bring The Sun" separated from the shitty "Toussaint L'Ouverture" on this album?
to get that 34 minute record time boi
To fill in the 2 hour quota that Swans albums as of late had to meet
Gira's also weird with his songwriting where he couldn't let The Seer completely go from the final version of Bring The Sun/Toussaint L'Ouverture
i seperated them with itunes, as i do any time an artists combines multiple tracks as one, annoying as shit

It's thematically tied to the first half, and the instrumental narrative is not complete without both halves of the song. Sorry to hear that you're a pleb, I disliked TL the first dozen times I listened through it as well.

you're a pretty swell guy

That's about enough my guy
Is there a better song culmination than those 5 minutes (9:00 - 14:00) in Bring The Sun in music history?

well I enjoyed listening to it but I thought it was tedious
Because they're equally good moments. Been relistening to this album actually and I could do without the back half of She Loves Us. First 7 or so minutes are cool but after that it's just kind of dull, a rare moment where Swans' mantra-like repetition actually didn't pan out for me.
