I know it's illegal, but I use idope. Just type in idope.se and then download the app. It's safe and has a nice simple interface. It's a torrent search engine so you should be able to find most stuff unless it's super obscure or something. Also use tubemate. It's a YouTube downloader. Just Google it.

I usually try the archive first, then if I can't find something there I can find it on soulseek

Can you find any album or even any single song by Smiles other than "Star on a patriotic flag "? That's the only example I can think of. Tv on the radio's ok calculator isn't available physically and I doubt it's on spotify or band camp but is available by other means.

A lot of Milt Buckner albums I couldn't find anywhere a while ago but I haven't attempted that in years and can probably get physical remaster.
